Dentures, also known as false teeth, are replacements for missing teeth which act like fitted prosthesis for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back in the mouth. Dentures are normally made of acrylic, nylon, or metal.

Removable Partial Dentures

Removable partial dentures are false teeth used to replace missing teeth. These false teeth are attached to a gum coloured plastic base which might be connected by metal framework that helps hold the dentures in place. Removable partial dentures might be indicated when a few healthy teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.
